Jonathan Horan
Keeper of the Flame, Executive Director of 5Rhythms®
Jonathan Horan

Who is Jonathan Horan?
Jonathan Horan is Gabrielle Roth’s son and closest collaborator who has become the primary steward of the 5Rhythms practice since his mother’s passing. Born and raised between the natural landscapes of Big Sur and the urban environment of New York City, Jonathan has been immersed in the 5Rhythms practice throughout his life.

A Life shaped by 5Rhythms
Jonathan began his journey with 5Rhythms at a very young age, attending his first seven-day workshop when he was just seven years old, and by his own account, was “all in” from that point forward. At age nine, he participated in another significant workshop during a difficult family time when his grandfather was dying. By seventeen, he had fully committed to the practice and went on to attend almost every workshop his mother taught over a twenty-five year period.

Following his mother’s death on October 22, 2012, he has embraced the role she designated for him in her final book “Connections,” where she dedicated the work to him as “The Keeper of the Flame”.
